Problem
The restaurant was sending PDFs in chat. Hours, the menu, and the room were never on one page, and reservation requests were easy to miss.
Solution
A short site: the room, the menu, practical details, and a request form that emails the house and stores a copy.
Maris Table is a small site with a specific job: tell a person if they want to come, and let them ask for a table without a third-party maze.
Features
- Menu that is easy to update
- Hours, location, and a map link
- Reservation request with party size
- Mobile layout for someone deciding in the evening
Technology
- Next.js
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
Development process
Copy and photography hierarchy came before decoration. The reservation form was tested with the person who actually reads the inbox.
